Nestled in the heart of apple orchard country, Autumn Harvest Winery was opened in July of 2005, by John & Marykay McIlquham. The John McIlquham family has been growing apples for three generations, nearly 90 years, in the small township of Lafayette, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.
By taking Marykay's hobby of wine-making and adding it to the existing John McIlquham Orchard family business, we have added something new to the traditional orchard experience!
Visitors to our tasting room can enjoy complimentary wine tasting during regular business hours, sample gourmet foods or peruse the gift shop. The patio provides seating to enjoy wine by the glass or bottle, while enjoying one of our many Wisconsin cheeses. During the spring, you can enjoy the fresh sights of blooming apple trees, flowers and an abundance of wildlife. July brings fresh ready picked blueberries grown in the orchard. During the fall season (Aug-Oct), we are open daily 9am to 6pm and offer 17 varieties of apples are available ready picked or pick- your-own, including Honeycrisp and Zestar. Pick-your-own pumpkins, FREE wagon rides and a FREE corn maze will surely delight kids of all ages!
