Welcome to Autumn Harvest Winery Online!

For over 80 years, the John McIlquham family has been growing quality apples at their orchard 8 miles east of Chippewa Falls. John & Marykay McIlquham and their two children have continued the tradition by adding something new to the traditional orchard experience…wine and hard apple cider!

Established in 2004, Autumn Harvest Winery produces 12 wines. All wines are produced and bottled by the McIlquhams, fermented in small batches from their orchard-grown apples, as well as from grapes and other fruits from around the region. This local winery has gained a great deal of attention with their new wines, ranging from dry to semi-sweet selections. The tasting room and orchard store are open seasonally, May through October. Wines can be found at select local retailers in the Chippewa Valley.

Visitors to the tasting room and orchard can enjoy complimentary wine tasting during regular business hours, a wide selection of gourmet food samples, Wisconsin cheeses, fresh-picked apples and a gift shop. Enjoy a picnic lunch with a glass of wine on the outdoor patio, or even make a memorable afternoon of picking your own fresh Wisconsin apples when in season.

4th Annual Fall Festival Scheduled

It's hard believe that fall is in the air and the kids will be back at school in a few short weeks.  We will celebrate the new season, and the apple harvest it brings, with our 4th Annual Fall Festival.  This years event will benefit the Chippewa County Humane Association.  Join us as we celebrate.  See the events listing for more information.

NEW WINES!!!

We are proud to introduce three new wines for 2009. 

• Blue Heaven was released in February in time of Valentine's Day.  Blueberry and grape fermented together, this is a semi-sweet red wine.  If you haven't tried it yet, there is no better time (or place) then now.
• Crisp Autumn Mist - Our newest apple wine made with Honeycrisp apples!  This is deliciously sweet and will surely be a hit this summer.  Available only in our tasting room this season.
• Merry Berry - Cranberry, Apple, Grape.  Scheduled to be released in July.  This is an awesome wine to brighten up the holidays but we love it as an everyday drinking wine too.

Each month throughout the season, we will feature specials and/or events celebrating our 5th Anniversary. Here are just a few:

• May - Register to win an all inclusive Patio Party!! for 10 guests.
• June - Buy any 2 gourmet food products and get 1 free (same line of product - excludes oils)
• July 25 - Customer Appreciation Celebration. Lunch is on us from 11am to 1pm!  Live music from 11am to 2pm, gourmet food demonstrations and

various door prizes throughout the day.

• AUGUST - Receive a free reusable wine tote with the purchase of 6 bottles of wine.  Available in August while supplies last.
